ELO RANKINGS (ALL ACTIVE TEAMS)
TEAM ELO (BETA)
HOW TEAM ELO WORKS
Team Elo is a rating for each team that goes up and down with how it finishes against other teams.
1. When it updates: once per event, when it ends. Tournaments and scrims both count, but a tournament is worth much more (a scrim counts about 40%).
2. Start at 0: every new team starts at 0 Elo and has to grind its way up by beating other teams. Losing never takes you below 0.
3. How you are ranked in an event: every match in the event counts. The match-point winner is 1st, then the other finalists, then everyone else by total points. Finals bonus: the event winner gets +20 Elo and the other finalists +10 (scrims count 40% of that), then tie-breakers (total kills, most kills in one map, best placement in one map).
4. How it moves: every team is compared with every other team. Beating higher-rated teams earns more, and a bigger points gap counts a little extra.
5. Stay together: keep at least 2 of your 3 active players the same as last tournament and your Elo stays. Change more at a tournament and your rating resets to 0. A scrim with a different line-up never resets you: you are just not rated in that scrim. Subs don't count.

ALL-TIME RANKINGS (TOP 100)
HIVE LADDER
HOW LADDER SCORING & RANKING WORKS
The Hive Ladder tracks long-term player performance and achievements across all recorded events. Players are sorted globally using a strict achievement hierarchy:
1. Tournament Wins - 🏆: The primary sorting metric. Players with the most overall tournament victories rank highest.
2. Map Wins - 🥇: Used as a tie-breaker. Counts total 1st-place individual map finishes.
3. Total Kills: Cumulative kill count across all submitted maps, serving as the final tie-breaker.
Stats are officially locked and accumulated into the ladder whenever admins publish event standings from the admin portal.
Use the tabs below to view the Overall Top 100, or switch to a specific map to see rankings based only on that map's Map Wins and Kills.

RULES & REGULATIONS
GENERAL CONDUCT
- Final Authority: Tournament Administration has the final word on all disputes and interpretations, even in cases not explicitly covered by these rules.
- Obey Instructions: Admin instructions must be followed immediately. Failure to comply may result in penalty points.
- All participants are required to be in their respective team voice channels in this discord.
GAMEPLAY RULES
- Mode: Ranked Play – Resurgence, played on the current live patch.
- Maps: Haven's Hollow, Fortunes Keep and Rebirth Island.
-
Restart Protocol:
- A lobby will be remade if a crash/disconnection happens in the pre-game lobby/when loading in (minimum 3 players).
- Once players land and combat starts, a map is considered underway. - No restarts will be granted once a map is underway.
- Once teams are on match point the lobby will only be reset if players from the match point teams crash or more than 10 players crash.
- No scoring adjustments will be granted due to disconnections, crashes, etc.
- Exploits: Moving outside map boundaries or using game-altering bugs is prohibited and may lead to a forfeit.
SCORING SYSTEM
-
Points are calculated based on kills and placement multipliers:
- Kills: 1 point per kill
- 1st Place: 1.6x multiplier
- 2nd-5th Place: 1.4x multiplier
- 6th-10th Place: 1.2x multiplier
- 11th-16th Place: 1.0x multiplier
- Tiebreakers: Total kills (without multipliers) > Highest kills in a single map > Highest placement in a single map.
- When a team hits 150 points, they enter match point which means they would have to win the game after hitting 150 points to secure the tournament win!
VIOLATIONS & INTEGRITY
- Cheating: Use of cheat software or information abuse results in immediate disqualification and potential bans.
- Unsportsmanlike Behaviour: Insults, spamming, and misleading officials are strictly sanctioned.
- Punctuality: Arriving late to matches once a code is given will result in penalties.
- At least 1 person per team should stream on either Twitch or YouTube with VODS being published. This is required so we can showcase the talent we have in this region and grow the scene together.
- Bans: Helicopters, terminator operator.
PRE-MATCH CONNECTION PROTOCOL (HIGH PING PLAYERS - 140MS PLUS)
To prevent lobby disconnection issues, all players must follow these steps:
- Join the lobby and settle into your squad.
- Tab out before the match countdown ends. (Console players -> Tab out = home screen / dashboard).
- Tab back in only after the plane sequence is complete (once you hear the plane flyby).

PLAYER (WEBSITE USER)
PLAYER NAME
Picking a website user links their account to the team (roster players only). If they are on another team, you will be asked before they are moved.
CHANGE TEAM NAME
Rename a team on request. Roster, scores, registrations and stats all stay with the team; past tournament final-standings snapshots keep the name that was used at the time.
CAPTAIN SWAP
If a team's captain has to leave, make another member the captain so they can submit scores. Leave "Permanent" unchecked for a temporary swap — the original captain is restored when you press Restore, or automatically when the event you pick is ended. Check "Permanent" to hand off captaincy for good, with no restore option.

Only roster players who have a website account can be picked. They get score-submission access and captain controls for this team.
ACTIVE TEMPORARY CAPTAINS
ROSTER SWAP (PRESERVES PAST STATS, APPLIES TO FUTURE MAPS)
Swap a player out for a new player on a team's roster. All past match stats stay attributed to the outgoing player's name; the new player's name is used for any maps submitted from now on.
SELECT TEAM
PLAYER TO SWAP OUT
NEW PLAYER SOURCE
NEW PLAYER (WEBSITE USER)
NEW PLAYER NAME IN
The player selected above ("Player To Swap Out") moves to the substitute spot, and the team's current substitute takes their roster spot. Both players stay on the team — no one is added or removed.
Picking a website user links their account to this team (their profile will show them as a member and they'll be freed from any account they're swapped out of). "Free Text Name" only edits the roster label and does not link any account — use it for a placeholder/stand-in name that isn't a registered user. "Swap With Team's Sub" doesn't bring anyone new in — it just trades the selected player's roster spot with the team's current substitute.
MANUALLY REGISTER A TEAM
Directly add a team to an event's roster without going through the pending approval queue.
KICK TEAM FROM TOURNAMENT
Remove a team's registration from an event — frees their slot, clears their group/day/finalist tags for that event, and cancels any pending join request. Does NOT disband the team or touch its roster/stats — they can be re-registered later.
ALL TEAMS
Every team ever created, with their full roster, sub, and captain. Disbanded teams stay on record here (so past stats keep making sense) but are greyed out — use Permanently Delete to clear one out for good.
GROUP ASSIGNMENTS & FINAL QUALIFIERS
Tick the teams heading into a group and hit "Assign Selected" to move them all at once, then mark who's qualified for the Final. Teams are grouped into columns below so you can see who's where at a glance.
ASSIGN GROUPS TO TOURNAMENT DAYS
For multi-day tournaments, choose which day(s) each group is scheduled to play on — every team in that group gets scheduled together. Teams not yet sorted into a group can still be scheduled individually below. Teams marked "Qualified for Final" automatically keep the Finals day on their schedule.
GLOBAL MAP NUMBER CONFIGURATION
Define which map played belongs to each Map Number globally. When configured, any score submitted under that map number will automatically apply this map name to all teams.

HOW THIS PAGE WORKS
1. Pick the tournament you're working on in Step 1 below — every box after it (Matches, Scores, Winner) applies to that tournament only.
2. A tournament can have several Matches (e.g. "Group Stage", "Finals"). Add them in Step 2.
3. Turn a match Active before scores are entered, so new scores get saved to it and the public Current Standings / Top Fraggers / overlays show it. If this event has Groups set up, pick the two groups facing off for that match (e.g. Group A vs Group B) so only those teams show — leave both on "none" to show all teams.
4. Mark the deciding match Finals — only points from that match count toward the tournament winner and the public "View Tournament Standings" results. Finals doesn't use groups: it automatically shows only the teams marked "QUALIFIED FOR FINAL" in the Group Assignment tab.

DANGER ZONE
Manage tournament resets. Requires Admin verification.
MARK TOURNAMENT AS STARTED (LOCKS ROSTERS)
Until a tournament is marked started, signed-up captains can freely edit their roster — kick, invite, roster swap, sub. Marking it started locks all signed-up teams' rosters for the rest of the event. Ending the tournament (below) unlocks them again.
END TOURNAMENT & CLOSE REGISTRATIONS
Select an active tournament event to end. This will completely close registrations and mark the event as ended.
ARCHIVE ENDED EVENT DATA (SPEEDS UP THE SITE)
Moves an ended event's detailed score entries out of the live database into a Storage file. Public Final Standings and Group Standings keep working. Publish the event to the Hive Ladder first. You can restore the data at any time.
SEASON MANAGEMENT
The Hive Ladder tracks stats in seasons (about 6 per year). The active season is what "Lock & Publish" writes to and what the public ladder shows by default. When it's time to roll over, archive the current season — its standings are snapshotted and become a smaller "previous season" tab on the public leaderboard, and a new empty season begins.
ACTIVE SEASON NAME
ARCHIVE ACTIVE SEASON & START A NEW ONE
This locks the current standings in as a past season (viewable from a small tab on the public ladder) and clears the active ladder to start fresh at zero. This cannot be undone.
PAST SEASONS
Previously archived seasons. Renaming here also updates the tab label shown to the public.
⚠️ Archived seasons live in Firebase Storage (
hive-ladder/archive.json), not the Realtime Database. A Realtime Database backup/restore does NOT include past seasons — back up that Storage file separately if you need to preserve archived season data.PUBLISH & LOCK STANDINGS
Accumulate and update all-time player stats, tournament wins, and map wins (1st placement) from a specific tournament event into the Hive Ladder. (Auto-exports backup).
SELECT TOURNAMENT EVENT TO PUBLISH
If you just published an event and spot a mistake (wrong kills, wrong map, etc.), use this to roll the ladder back to how it was just before that publish. Then fix the event's match data and publish it again. Only the single most recent publish can be undone.
